Governing with Confidence: Safeguarding in Multi-Academy Trusts provides trustees, governors, and senior leaders with the knowledge and assurance they need to oversee safeguarding with clarity and confidence.

Drawing on real case studies and best practice from across the sector, this session explores how to:

• Understand the statutory duties of trust boards in relation to safeguarding
• Distinguish between operational and strategic responsibilities
• Use data, reporting, and assurance mechanisms to monitor safeguarding effectively
